Skin Care

One of the significant clinical challenges of radiation and chemotherapy treatment is the toxic effects on the skin. Skin reactions are one of the most common complications during and after exposure to ionizing radiation. About 2-3 weeks after radiation erythema, epidermal desquamation may occur, followed by moist desquamation (blisters filled with serum), and sometimes exudation. Aicore Store offers skincare products with proven effectiveness from the European company Aurea Pharma - RadioProtect and ChemoDry B6.

RadioProtect is a specialized soothing and calming cream for irritated skin after exposure to radiation therapy, during chemotherapy, sunbathing, or tanning.

Ingredients: water, olive oil, myristyl myristate, maleate soybean oil, cetearyl olivate, sorbitan olivate, glycerin, panthenol (vitamin B5), knotweed extract (resveratrol), milk thistle fruit extract, squalane, carbomer, sodium hydroxymethylglycinate, peppermint fragrance.

During chemotherapy, there can be side effects in the form of hand-foot syndrome. Symptoms can range from tingling and burning sensations to the appearance of blisters and even skin necrosis, causing discomfort and reducing the patient's quality of life. These effects can also lead to a reduction in the dose of cytostatics, chemotherapy delay, and sometimes discontinuation.

Hand-foot syndrome is a common side effect associated with a range of chemotherapy drugs that affect the skin, causing discomfort on the palms and soles of the feet.

ChemoDry B6 is a specialized moisturizing and nourishing cream for dry and sensitive skin, especially on the hands and feet.

Recommended for the care of sensitive skin affected by the negative impact of cytostatics (chemotherapy) and ionizing radiation (radiation therapy).

ChemoDry B6 can be used by patients with hand-foot syndrome (hand-foot syndrome) and diabetic foot.
